Iron Curtain Pole - Our Wrought Iron Curtain Pole Range
Choose from three wrought iron curtain pole styles - smooth, rope twist and traditionally forged cottage poles. Smooth curtain poles come in three standard diameters: 16mm, 22mm and 32mm. Rope twist curtain poles are formed from four strands of fine round bar twisted to create a rope and come in 25mm diameter only. Cottage poles are fully forged solid poles supplied in a single piece. Available in 12mm or 16mm diameters, these are particularly suitable for small, cottage-style windows and give a very traditional look. Curtain rings and hooks are available for all of our poles.
Iron Curtain Pole - Complementary Wrought Iron Pendant & Ceiling Lighting
To complement our Iron Curtain Pole range, we also make a large selection of lighting to coordinate within your chosen design. All of our ceiling lighting and pendant lighting is handmade to order and sizes can often be modified to suit your specific requirements.
Iron Curtain Pole - Complementary Wrought Iron Lanterns
High quality light fittings are often the hardest furnishings to find for your home but at Nigel Tyas ironwork you can be sure of a light fitting that is skilfully crafted using the highest quality materials. Our elegant lanterns all come with a handforged ceiling rose and additional chain as required.

When we set out to design our chandeliers, our aim was to produce something totally different from the mass-produced over ornate designs that are commonly available. All our our chandeliers are beautifully crafted to order using the highest quality materials and are equally at home in a traditional or contemporary setting. Our Hartcliff 12- and 18-light chandeliers are the most stunning and elegant designs for larger living spaces with a ceiling fitting that can be adapted to suit your requirements.

Our handforged table and standard lamps offer directional and mood lighting, at the same time adding a beautiful feature to your home. As with all of our work, our lamps are handmade to order and as such we can often tailor them to suit your individual requirements.
Iron Curtain Pole - Complementary Silk Lampshades
We offer a range of beautiful candle shades to complement our Wrought Iron Lighting. These provide a traditional look and feel to your chosen lighting. Amongst our most popular shades are the traditional Cream Parchment and Cream crackle candle shades which give a subtle soft glow to your room. Pure silk shades in ivory Shantung silk and Satluj silk in various colours are also amongst the most popular.

Hanforged Wrought iron light switches and Wrought iron electrical sockets are now available from Nigel Tyas ironwork. In response to various requests by our customers, we are pleased to introduce our brand new range of handmade wrought iron electrical switches and sockets. As with all of our wrought iron products, these are all individually handforged in our own workshop.
